What goes on at our digital growth living lab
At our digital growth living lab in Dun Laoghaire Town we are constantly experimenting with what works most effectively for attracting footfall with a high capture rate for our town's community of small businesses. This footfall can be visitor/resident (B2C persona) or worker (B2B persona) based.
To promote visitor/resident footfall our "Love Dun Laoghaire" and "Buy Local" B2C campaigns run on the DunLaoghaireTown.ie website and the related @DunLaoghaireTown social media accounts with a focus on Dún Laoghaire's heritage and the online offerings of local small businesses at key events in the calendar such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, January Sales as well as sector specific promotions.
To promote increased footfall with a high capture rate from people working in the town our "Why Dun Laoghaire" B2B campaigns and events are delivered through the @DigitalDunLaoghaire website with a focus on attracting and networking innovation driven enterprises.
Our 'Dun Laoghaire Enterprise Centre' supported by Bank of Ireland and grants from DLR County Council are the key sources of funding for our digital living lab and show how space can be repurposed.
