DigitalHQ clg are delighted to announce that Angela Tynan and Dermot Casey have join our Advisory Panel.

We recently announced that we successfully received support from Enterprise Ireland for our plans to scale up our offering to more small businesses next year. DigitalHQ have exciting plans for 2021 and our new panel members will be very helpful to this.

While the Board of DigitalHQ monitor and facilitate the progress of our not-for-profit company, the goal of the Advisory Panel is to form an informal group of people that are aligned with our mission, prepared to meet on an occasional basis and lean in on relevant projects/initiatives subject to their existing commitments.

Angela is Manager of Nutgrove Enterprise Park, in Rathfarnham, Dublin providing workspace to start up and growing businesses. She supports and advises owner managers and high potential start ups and manages programmes to assist entrepreneurial and investment growth. She is knowledgeable on the routes to assistance and funding in Ireland and on what it takes to develop and grow a business. In addition Angela manages the Enterprising Women and Link business networks on behalf of the Local Enterprise Office, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown.

Dermot was COO and CTO for Storyful and grew it from 2 to 35 people, building the technology and the processes, raised a few million in funding and ran a 24x7 organisation. Storyful sold to NewsCorp in 2013 for $25 million. Before Storyful he worked in GE. Since Storyful Dermot has worked with dozens of companies helping them define their strategy, figure out their value, raise millions and build the base for success.

He also taught Strategy and Innovation on MBA and MSc programs at the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, UCD and was on the Advisory board for the MSc in Innovation, Entrepreneurship & Design.

The role of the Advisory Panel features here on the DigitalHQ website - https://www.digitalhq.ie/governance
